I Can't Catch Up..

It was a very cold 17F this morning at 7am when I went downstairs with Keegan. I'm actually thankful for the cold, in the hopes that it kills some of these bugs we've had so bad over the past two years because of warm winters. Chicago was something like 0F this morning!
Today at work we are suppose to hear about the big re-organization that is going to happen, but I'm skeptical as it's 10am and still nothing had been announced, nor any meetings set up for it. We'll see.

Nothing much today. Came into work as usual. Keegan and I had to stop in the morning to pick up a snack for his school, as it was his snack duty for one day this week. We ended up with cinamon graham crackers. Eric found out over the weekend that his boss OK'd for him to work remote back in NC, so he's supposedly aiming to be back in NC the first week in April. We'll see how that goes. I offered to help him drive a vehicle back but not sure what his plans are at this time. It will take him several weeks I'm sure to get it all straight. A lot of coordination will be involved for him.

It was to get to 50F today, so I figured we'd go to the park to get the kids some fresh air as they have not had a chance to play outside for a long time because of the cold wether, and later this week is expected to bring more cold, so it's as good a time as any I figured.
We'll it did hit 50F, but it was SOOO windy, it felt like 30F most of the time. Still the kids had a great time at "Todd's" park. We ended up staying two hours. We 'forged' over two streams which they loved, instead of taking the easy bridges over. The kids were hesitant at first, but as soon as I started walking down, they followed and loved it! They especially loved the 2nd stream where we were able to get out on a big rock in the middle of the water. The water was only about 6-10" deep so not a big deal if they fell, but they loved it!
They all went to bed around 7pm! They were exhausted from all the fresh air. Amanda and I watched the Bears lose in SuperBowl 41 to the Colts. At least they made it that far. Everyone expected them to lose because of their bad quarterback, Rex Grossman.

I can't recall anything too exciting this day. I think it was a normal bum around type of day as it was cold out once again, so no playing outside.

Nothing special, worked and came home as usual.

Can't recall this far back. I think Ian and Carson had their 2 /4 year check up at the doctors. They both did horrible Amanda said and were screaming. Carson especially was bad and was hitting the doctor and trying to fight his way free during the exam. Ugh. But he did get his 4 shots poor guy. At least they are done with now until he's 10 years old.
