Sickness

Well it had to happen eventually. We are sick. Amanda, myself, Carson and possibly Ian. Keegan seems OK for now, but we'll see if it lasts. Stuffiness, coughing, aching, fever. Not fun. I'm on day two, about one day behind Amanda.
I dropped Keegan off at school again today, but this time I walked to his room with him to drop off the big bag of bananas since it was too heavy for him to carry. It's his snack duty one day this week. I got to see his new classroom across the hall from his old one which was nice for me. I really enjoyed walking down the hall with him and talking to him and him pointing things out as well. Very relaxing and fun.

Just work again today. I've been dropping Keegan and Carson off at school in the morning since I have enough time to do it and it saves Amanda from having to start the truck up and rush to get ready in the morning. Really works out well, but I can't get home as early because I don't get in until about 9:45am each day.
Just ate dinner when we got home, played with the kids a short while, read them some books and off to bed. We are all tired because of this cold going around.

We went to Southpoint mall today. It was hot and humid like yesterday so we for sure didn't want to spend the day inside again, and being at a playground was just too hot. So we headed to Southpoint. The boys call it 'Build a Bear' - but they are referring to the play area there, not the store. They don't seem to have an interest in the store, even though they have both (Keegan and Carson) been in there for a birthday party previously. That's good I guess because it's an expensive place! They played for over two hours in the play area by the food court and then we grabbed some lunch in the food court, played a short bit more and walked around the mall a little, then headed home. All told we were there for about three hours. We all had a nice time and Carson and Ian fell asleep on the ride home.

Hot and humid today. Very wierd weather for the weekend. It's been very cool before the weekend and is suppose to be cool after.
I had to hang around the house from 1pm until ?? as they were releasing RMS 4.5 to Production and I was on call. So we all hung around until about 4pm when Dawn and Pat came over. They ate dinner with us on the deck and then at 7pm they all left including Amanda and all the kids and went to a live show at Regency Park. We got the tickets free at Elaines daughters birthday party a couple weeks ago. It turned out to be a spectacular show and Amanda and the kids didn't get home until 10pm !! Keegan was the only still awake and he walked in the door and said that was the greatest thing he had ever seen! I was so happy to hear that, and at the same time sad that I couldn't go. It turns out about five minutes after they left I got an email that they were all done with the release! ugh. I didn't have an extra ticket, otherwise I could have met them. Tickets were $20 each and we didn't think the show would be good that good so we never planned on me meeting them. Oh well, I'm glad the kids enjoyed it and had a night out with Amanda. Dawn and Pat had a good time too and enjoyed the dinner at our house as well. Looks like they will come over for Thanksgiving as well, so that will be fun. We'll have a full house - just the way I like it on holidays, especially Thanksgiving.
