A whole week went by
-- 30 October 2006 [Monday]
Yikes! A whole week has gone by since my last post. It was a busy week at work for sure, thus the lack of updates. I think I won't even bother to go back and enter something for the days last week as I can't really think of anything dramatic that happened. I will though enter some things for this past weekend.
Today it was a beautiful warm 74F !!
Carson had his 'fall festival of fun' at school and had to wear his Halloween costume to school. He looked absolutely addorable this morning. He wanted to be a kitty cat, so that's what he was. A black kitty cat, with ears, a tail, wiskers, etc. Amanda volunteered at the school function so she could see the kids and bring Ian with as well. She said they had a good time. The pony's didn't show up for the pony ride until 11am though, so there wasn't much time to do that. But overall they had a great time.

We bummed around a bit today. Was a very nice warm and sunny day out again. Amanda and the kids made carmel corn in the morning and then we all headed over to the 'Fort Park' by Eric & Denises' house. We all had a great time and played for about an hour. Keegan, Amanda and I ran the bases in the baseball diamond area to get Keegan used to it. He actually enjoyed it. He's been doing amazingly well hitting the ball so we hope to sign him up for T-Ball in spring or soccer. We'll let him choose.
After the park we went to Wendy's for a nice lunch and then to Home Depot to pick up replacement parts for my bathroom drain that broke.
Got home and played outside for a couple more hours. Keegan did terrific hitting the ball with the bat and Ian loved to go chase the balls. Carson didn't want to play that and rode his bike instead most of the time.
I almost finished the Ural. I just need to put the oil in the gearbox and engine. The new funnel we got at Home Depot is of course too big to fit in the gearbox hole like the 2 others I already have at home. Ugh. So I have to buy another one someone. I needed to let the RTV sealer dry a full day anyway before adding oil.
Amanda and I watch a movie called 'RV' at night. It was just OK. Nothing I would recommend to others.
